im a trans woman with many big feelings. im unfortunately an avid tumblr user. ive drawn and read comics for my whole life, i love listening to music, and im trying to watch as many movies as i can even though i dont have that much time. i like discussing art with my friends, its the quickest way to my heart
i love anything sci fi especially if it has badass or cute robots
i love rhythmically complex music like jazz, math rock, prog rock, n emo, but ill listen to literally anything bc i love learning
i love story driven games n cool indies, my cup of tea is pretty much undertales + ultrakills + metroids + celesteses + nuclear thrones

my parents are both huge nerds who like literature and music, and i read homestuck at 11, and whenever anyone i know learns those things theyre like "oh so thats why you talk like that." people say my manner of speaking is infectuous.
after growing up with volumes of calvin & hobbes + the far side and subsequently getting into homestuck, i ended up getting really into webcomics + mspfas. anybody that can turn me onto a unique and engaging comic ive never heard of before will instantly earn my favor

one of the things that drives my curiosity the most is understanding how art has shaped culture and influenced other art. the games and movies and music ill go for most easily is stuff that made big waves and influenced genre conventions. getting a better understanding of cultural touchpoints and references+homages in other works is very important and fun to me
